The ever-popular Freeloader iSIS has just scooped Solar Technology International another top national award.
Camping Magazine granted the title of ‘Best Camping Gadget/Innovation’ to our daylight-driven device; this comes hot on the heels of our recent award win for HUBi at the BETA International equine trade show.
Freeloader iSIS was launched in 2014 and has already scooped several accolades. The lightweight solar charger is ideal for serious adventurers or leisure travellers, and is the perfect companion for mobile phones, tablets, MP3 players, cameras and portable consoles, thanks to its integrated charging arms (Lightning & micro USB) and a USB output socket. Its all-weather solar cell is 50% more efficient than the nearest competition, providing a full day’s charge for all electronic gadgets.
With more and more people participating in adventure-style holidays or fund-raising activities, the Freeloader has already caught the imagination of well-known endurance sportsmen and adventurers, such as Sean Conway and explorer Laura Kennington.
Sean Conway said: “My Freeloader iSIS never leaves my backpack on my various adventures, this prestigious award is well-deserved.”
For leisure or serious campers, the rugged and lightweight device is designed to help maintain communication with the outside world. Photographers can also forget the curse of flat batteries as the Freeloader will keep their charge going.
STI managing director, Adrian Williams, said: “We would like to thank Camping Magazine for this award. We are sure many of its readers will enjoy using the product during their camping breaks.”
The device normally retails at under £65, however Solar Technology has also added the Globetrotter Click bundle to its product stable. At £129.99 this incorporates a Freeloader iSIS, Supercharger 5W solar panel and the CamCaddy2 universal camera charger.
